i'm headed back to school today. can't wait to get to the gym tonight. i'm going hard this week. i went tanning yesterday, it helps me relieve my stress, and i realize how the only thing i want in life is to really feel comfortable in my own skin. and the main thing is my weight. so i'm super determined. i'm getting new sneakers this week. and some new workout clothes. i love working out and i always feel better when i do, so i'm doing. everyday. on rest days i'll walk more. i'm determined.
as for eating, i am going to make sure i eat a sufficient amount of protein everyday. i need to go food shopping at school too. veggiesss need to be in my fridge at all times. i don't eat much, but i need to start. breakfast, lunch, and dinner. and munch on some veggies once or twice a day. i also need to drink more tea. lots of it. :) because i love it and it relaxes me. which is something i really need.
i think i might go tanning at school too. after the gym. i need to focus on relieving my stress.
i'm not worried about my friends. too much drama with them. we'll hang out to do our homework, and on the weekends that's about it.
i'm not drinking for at least two weeks. because i don't need it.
i have three gym buddies now. jill, alex, and allie.
jill is really skinny and it will be easy for her to get back in to shape which makes me jealous, but at least ill feel more accomplished.
alex wants to strength train and what not with me
and allie almost never goes.
but, i'll go myself if they're not available.
and from today on, everyday, my workout will be posted.
my mom complains about being fat everyday, and thats just not what i wanna be. like my mom.
i'm just happy with my thoughts today.:) need to look good for the summmerrrr

You need to read more Whole9 stuff, woman. Live by the words of Melissa Urban and that of Robb Wolf. They are smart people. Rest more, train less, pick up heavy shit and eat a ton more food. Gymnastics and strength are key. Too much Metcon will do you no good.
ReplyDeleteAbout your working out. I don't even know if you're doing this but you need to rest every 4th day. 3 on - 1 off. You have to. If you need to take 2 days off - DO NOT WORRY, resting is part of recovering. Sneakers for training are better to be low low low heels. You do not want the support - cavemen didn't need support! I usually lift in bare feet. BUT good shoes are Vibram Five-Fingers (google) - they're amazing and once I have money I am buying some! Tanning.. take me with you. I wanna see how stress-relieving it is! I hear it's amazing. Ahh I wanna goo!
Yes, walk a lot on rest days (or every day!). Don't run. If you run, sprint. On your days off, do a few sprints. Do handstands (against a wall). Do planks.
Eat as many green things as you can find. More veggies the better. Eat a lot of meat, woman. I want you to buy cans and cans of tuna and salmon until you're bored of it. Why? Because of the non-refridgeratable (is that a word?) huge protein source. Buy paleo kits! More veggies, less fruit. Too much fruit hinders weight loss, as does too many nuts/nut butters.
Absolutely no alcohol. I am not sure if you've been drinking this whole 100 days but NONE of it. Every I think 3 drinks is a pound of fat you could have lost but am now holding onto. HOW LAME.

As for your friend, skinny does not mean strong. Would you rather look like a Victoria Secret stick or Gillian Mounsey of CF NYC (http://www.crossfit.com/mt-archive2/Gillian_Mounsey_Back_Lever_CFCP.jpg) - I want to be strong and beautiful, not stick-like. and in regards to your other post - my calves are too big for a lot of boots, too. Oh well, means I'm muscular and have to find a few good pairs of boots, which I have found and are out there! Be proud to be strong, woman!
Tea is so healing. I would say stick to green and herbal teas. Black just suck without something in them..

All I have to say is more protein, more veggies, less fruit, more sleep, more heavy shit, less body-weight metcon, stress less (stress releases cortisol into the body - you do not want that. cortisol stores fat), take naps, love yourself, tell yourself you are beautiful (because you ARE) and be proud of yourself. You are strong and a hot mama. Just keep telling yourself it'll all pay off :) SOON.
